Brittany is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering counseling services in; family, parenting, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, survivors of physical and sexual abuse for children, adolescents, and adults. Brittany especially enjoys working with pre-teens and adolescents and families.

Brittany supports clients using a systemic approach with models such as structural, solution-focused, and emotionally-focused, and Bowenian. Brittany is also trained in EMDR. Brittany believes that the most helpful way to work with a client is to look at a client through their relationships they create and systemic factors that are involved.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northwest Nazarene University, Brittany moved to Chicago to complete her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Brittany is certified as a Prepare & Enrich Pre-Marital Counselor and certified as a Positive Discipline Educator.
Brittany specializes in counseling, for individuals and families with concerns related to:

  • Grief and life transitions
  • Adult and child & adolescent survivors of sexual abuse
  • Children and adolescent issues including: Depression, Anxiety, self-
    harm, bullying, motivational concerns, and parenting
  • Parenting concerns
  • Intervention include: Relational interventions, sandtray, art therapy, and play therapy, and EMDR
