I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University, am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho, and am also a Clinical Supervisor, providing clinical supervision for LPCs. I have been a mental health clinician since 2006, working with children, adolescents, and women. Using awareness and mindfulness strategies, my counseling style is positive, faith-based, and encouraging.

My focus is on the individual’s experience and providing assistance to help clients achieve their goals. Through positivity and a strengths-based view, I strive to empower clients to increase their self-worth, providing opportunities to develop awareness of the problems they are facing, and gain new insights of possible solutions. My theoretical approach is a compilation of Solution Focused and Gestalt therapy techniques. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also provide play therapy, art therapy, and sand tray therapy. My training and experience includes child/adolescent developmental stages, women’s issues, personal growth, parent/child relationships, anxiety/depression, adjustments/life transitions, sport psychology/mental skills training, as well as career counseling.
